Nominations for the 85th Annual Academy Awards were announced this morning and there was a major snub among this year's group of talented nominees: Spanish actor Javier Bardem was snubbed in the Best Supporting Actor category for his scene-stealing work in the latest Bond film, Skyfall.

Jennifer Lopez is up for Worst Supporting Actress in What to Expect When You’re Expecting at the Golden Raspberry Awards aka Razzies. As you may or may not know, the Razzies is film publicist John J.B. Wilson’s, um, "fun" way of calling out the worst in film, a tradition he started 33 years ago.
Story goes, Wilson had friends over his house every year for an Academy Award potluck, and one time they decided to give out their worst award presentations. The rest is history.

The highly anticipated film Les Misérables, starring Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway is already getting plenty of Oscar buzz. While the movie may not star a Latino actor on-screen, Spanish designer Paco Delgado is responsible for the beautiful costumes featured in the early 1800s period piece. Just a few weeks ago, his designs received a Critic's Choice Award nomination for "Best Costume Design."
