What do you think Star Trek fans will love most about Into Darkness?

Oh man! I can tell fans that this movie will keep you on the edge of your seats. There is a lot of action, but it never compromises the heart of the storyline. You care about these characters and that’s the one thing that makes J.J. Abrams an amazing filmmaker. People are going to be blown away.

Was it difficult learning Klingon, a fake language, for the movie?

I thought it was going to be much more difficult, but I ended up having such an amazing time learning it. A fictional language is an interesting and exciting concept for me. It was so much fun learning my lines for that part.

Do you ever feel pressure about playing such an iconic character?

I did in the first movie because it was the first time I was meeting the cast. I felt a little bit of anxiety, but after I met Nichelle Nichols I felt so much more at ease. She gave me her blessing and that meant so much to me.
