Congratulations Bérénice Bejo! The Argentinean actress—who we’ve been predicting will get an Oscar nomination this year—received a Best Supporting Actress Critics Choice Award nomination this morning for her terrific turn in the much-buzzed about French silent film, The Artist!
For those who don't know, the Critics Choice Awards are handed out every year by the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA), which is comprised of more than 250 TV, radio and online critics. The association prides itself as being a predictor of Academy Award nominations and every year, the vast majority of BFCA nominees go on to get nominated for Oscars!
We recently talked to the gorgeous Bejo in New York City about her Oscar chances, whether or not she identifies as Latina, and why everyone should go out and see The Artist. Check out the video interview below!
