Selena Gomez Starts Work on Film 'Feed the Dog'

After recently turning 20, Selena Gomez is definitely beginning to shed her teen image. The former Disney star is starting to work on a new role for a movie called Feed the Dog. And she's even sporting a new hairdo which she posted a picture of on Facebook.

Selena wrote, “new hair for a new movie :) I love changing my hair!” Feed the Dog is a black comedy set in the 1970's and is based on the book While I'm Dead...Feed the Dog by Ric Browde. Selena will be playing Nina, the love interest of a teen character named Ric.

The role will prove to be a new challenge for Selena as she's never appeared in a dark comedy before, but we're looking forward to seeing what she has in store for this project.
