The animated movie tells the story of different types of food living together at a grocery store who think that being bought and taken home is the ultimate goal. Joke's on them — they have no idea that their purpose in life is to get eaten alive. The Mexican actress plays Teresa, the lesbian taco who falls for a hot dog bun played by Kristen Wiig.

When a reporter asked the Mexican actress what she thought when she was approached to play a lesbian taco, she said she knew she'd never get another role like this.
