We recently spoke to Fernanda Romero, the star of mun2s bilingual series, RPM Miami. Romera plays badass chica Luisa, a struggling single mom who races cars at night (a la The Fast & The Furious). The edgy Mexican actress shared with us her Latina inspiration: “I do love Michelle [Rodriquez]. I think she’s badass, of course.” Which made us think of some of our favorite tough ladies. Here are our 6 favorites and why we love them!
Rosario Dawson
Sin City (2005)
In the adaptation of the graphic novel Sin City, Dawson plays Gail, a prostitute-dominatrix and Dwight’s (Clive Owen) on-again, off-again lover. “I think it’s a very even keel sort of strength between the men and the women. The guys get their balls ripped off. The girls threaten to do it—and will. And I think it’s a pretty tough town on both sides,” Rosario says about her role.
