It’s 1948 and the streets of Los Angeles are overrun with criminal activity thanks to gangster Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) and his multitude of dangerous cohorts. It’s up to one man, Sgt. John O’Mara (Josh Brolin), to assemble a team brave enough to take on the evildoers and reclaim their city in, Gangster Squad.
Michael Peña stars as Officer Navidad Ramirez in the crime drama, one of the six men tasked with taking down Cohen. Though he wasn’t invited in like the other men were, like a true Latino, Ramirez found a way to make his participation invaluable to the operation.
Will Sgt. O’Mara, Ramirez, Kennard, and their team of dedicated cohorts (which also features the talent of fellow big screen stars Ryan Gosling, Giovanni Ribisi, and Anthony Mackie) be able to bring Cohen to his knees? Run out and see Gangster Squad, in theaters nationwide now, for all the answers!
