Jessica Alba to Star in "Spy Kids" Reboot

Jessica Alba is reportedly in talks to star in the upcoming Robert Rodriguez film, Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World. The Spy Kids series originally starred Antonio Banderas and Carla Cugino as superspy parents who unwittingly teach their children the ins and outs of their industry.

Spy Kids 4 will be a rebot of sorts. Alex Vega and Daryl Sabara are all grown up and can no longer play the titular characters. In the fourth installment of the lucrative Dimensions Film series, Alba will play the mother of a toddler child and step-mom of two preteens who become the next generation of Spy Kids. Banderas, Vega and Sabara are all expected to return in supporting roles.

Filming is slated to begin in Austin, TX in early Fall. The new Spy Kids flick is the third time Alba and Rodriguez will team up; they've also worked together on Sin City and Machete together.
