Jennifer Lopez sure likes to keep busy!
According to Vulture, the Puerto Rican singer will play Griselda Blanco, one of the most powerful female drug lords of the 1970s and early ‘80s, in a HBO film. Not only did J.Lo snag the role of "The Cocaine Godmother," but she’s also the film’s executive producer.
“I’ve been fascinated by the life of this corrupt and complicated woman for many years,” Lopez told Variety. “The idea of teaming with HBO felt like the perfect fit for finally bringing Griselda’s story to life.”
These roles are just two of the many projects that J.Lo has on her to-do list. She’s currently starring in NBC's "Shades of Blue" and spearheading a dance competition for the network. And there’s also her Vegas show in which she added more performances.
