Isabela Moner is really climbing up the Hollywood ladder and fast! The 17-year-old actress is making her debut as the popular cartoon character Dora the Explorer for the big screen adaptation already shooting in Australia.

Paramount Players sent over the first image of Moner as Dora and she's wearing her signature bob haircut, pink top, and orange shorts. Shooting began on Oz's Gold Coast on Monday, August 6 under the direction of James Bobin. The release from Paramount teases that Dora is ready to take on one of her biggest adventures to date---  high school!

"Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents nothing could prepare Dora for the most dangerous adventure ever – High School. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego (Micke Moreno), and a ragtag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost Inca civilization."

Moner, who most recently starred in Sicario: Day of the Soldado and Transformers: The Last Knight, will also be joined in the film by Eugenio Derbez who plays Alejandro, a mysterious jungle inhabitant who tries to protect the teenagers from the marauders.
