Get ready to rush to theaters in droves on September 21 to support Life Itself, a film we're certain will become your favorite of the year. In Dan Fogelman's romantic dramedy, audiences are introduced to various couples from New York and Spain who share connections, pain, and love in very interesting ways.

We're happy to share an exclusive character poster from the film that shows a father and son enjoying a day out in New York City. The father, Javier, played by Snowfall's Sergio Peris-Mencheta, carries his only child Rodrigo (Adrian Marrero) on his shoulders on a not-so-busy street during a vacation in the Big Apple.

Notice in the background, you'll see a blurry image of Will (Oscar Isaac) and Abby (Olivia Wilde) who are expecting their first child. Without ruining the journey of discovery of these two families for viewers, audiences will discover throughout the film how strangers with bodies of water and huge chunks of land have intertwined destinies.

Fogelman has proven time and again that he's the master of time jumping and interweaving destinies while keeping viewers on the edge of their seat. Much like fans of his hit NBC series This Is Us, expect that the journey will bring tears of both sadness and happiness throughout the entire film.

Life Itself also co-stars Antonio Banderas, Laia Costa, Annette Benning, Mandy Patinkin, Lorenza Izzo, and a hilarious appearance from Samuel L. Jackson.
