As the son of a military officer, it seems as if Edgar Ramirez was destined for his latest role in Zero Dark Thirty. In this controversial follow-up film from the Oscar-winning duo behind The Hurt Locker, Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal chronicle the grueling, decade-long hunt for terrorist Osama bin Laden after the September 11th attacks.

Last week I sat down with the dreamy Venezuelan actor who stars as Larry, a CIA ground branch operative and surveillance specialist who is recruited by the central character in the film, Maya (Jessica Chastain) to aid in the search for the al-Qaeda founder.

No matter where you stand as far as politics are concerned, I assure you that watching Ramirez in action is reason enough to run out and see this film! As he has done in previous big screen hits including Wrath of the Titans (hello, he plays a god!), The Passenger, Libertador, Carlos, and The Bourne Ultimatum, he will impress you with his talent and leave you salivating for more with his striking good looks.

Watch our interview with Edgar below and can catch Zero Dark Thirty in theaters nationwide now.
