Antonio Banderas is a master at acting, and this role is no different.
In The 33, the 55-year-old plays Mario "Super Mario" Sepúlveda, the makeshift leader of the miners. During the film, we see his character evolve into a leader of the pack, bringing everyone together with the hope that they will live and see their families again.
"Being a part of something that called the attention of millions of people around the world is important," he told us. "There is obviously a sense of responsibility when you do a movie on an event that actually happened so you try to approach those who lived this story as much as you can."
