10 Must-See Movies This Spring & Summer

Although the summer movie season usually starts in May, the highly-anticipated release of The Hunger Games this weekend has moved the movie calendar up a couple of months. But with so many movies coming out between now and July, it's easy to get overwhelmed. So we're doing the dirty work for you!

These are 10 must-see movies for this spring and summer and why you just can't miss them. It might not be the list the critics make, but it's proof that there's a little something for everyone year-round.

The Hunger Games (March 23) - We couldn't very well make this list without one of the biggest movies of the year. Even though our Latino recast can't be a reality, we still can't wait to watch it!

Girl in Progress (May 11) - With a limited release the same weekend that audience favorites Jason Segel and Emily Blunt debut in a rom-com (The Five-Year Engagement), Eva Mendes' new movie probably won't top the box office. But it has a stellar Latino cast, including newbie Cierra Ramirez, who we already love.

The Avengers (May 5) - If you've ever enjoyed a comics movie, you're bound to like this one. With Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, and so many more -- this combo can't be wrong! And if it is, at least it's great eye candy.

What to Expect When You're Expecting (May 18) - We've got two names for you: Jennifer Lopez and Rodrigo Santoro. There are a ton of other stars in this, but we miss seeing J.Lo on the big screen and she'll be great with Rodrigo who's a hunk as well as a sweetheart.

Men In Black III (May 25) - Just when you thought it wouldn't happen, it's here! Ok, so these movies are cheesy, but they're so much fun! Besides, we think Will Smith alone is a reason to see it.

Chernobyl Diaries (May 25) - Let's say time travel and aliens aren't your thing, you can pretend it's Halloween instead of Memorial Day and watch the latest from the man behind Paranormal Activity

Rock of Ages (June 15) - Based on the hit Broadway musical, the star-studded movie musical is sure to be a winner. We're especially excited for newcomer Diego Boneta after watching the Rock of Ages trailer!

The Amazing Spider-Man (July 3) - The latest Spider-Man movie stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Some might be skeptical, but we think it's going to be great (and not only because we sorta wish Andrew were Latino).

The Dark Knight Rises (July 20) - Come on, you didn't think we'd skip this, did you? We've been waiting years for this movie! Why isn't it July already?!

Step Up 4 (July 27) - To be honest, we barely remembered the Step Up movies were still being made until we put this list together, but we're glad they are because this time, they're heading to Miami! We hope this means there's plenty of steamy salsa with cutie Ryan Guzman and SYTYCD's Kathryn McCormick.

What movie are you looking forward to the most?
