#TBT: 10 Movies You Forgot Latino Celebs Starred In

Remember the 1996 hit flick The Substitute? Or how about Britney Spears' Crossroads? For this week's Throwback Thursday, we're taking a look at 10 movies you (probably) forgot featured some of your favorite Latino celebrities:

1. Crossroads

Zoe Saldana starred as Kit in the 2002 flick Crossroads. The film also starred Britney Spears and Orange is the New Black's Taryn Manning. Crossroads is about three childhood best friends who go on a cross-country trip after their high school graduation. The three chicas ultimately learn a great deal about themselves and their friendship.

2. Glitter

R&B diva Mariah Carey landed the lead role as Billie Frank in the film Glitter in 2001. Glitter is about a young singer (Billie), who dates a DJ that eventually helps her get into the music business. Their relationship inevitably becomes complicated as she ascends to super stardom. Carey's portrayal of Billie landed her a 2001 Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress.

3. Super Mario Bros.

When the hit video game Super Mario Bros. made its way to the big screen, John Leguizamo was tapped to play Luigi Mario.

4. Boat Trip

Before her days on Devious Maids, Roselyn Sanchez starred in the 2002 film Boat Trip, opposite Cuba Gooding, Jr. Sanchez played Gabriella in this movie about two straight men who mistakenly end up on a "gays only" cruise.

5. The Adventures of Pluto Nash

Remember 2002's The Adventures of Pluto Nash? Rosario Dawson starred opposite Eddie Murphy in this comedy about a man in the future who struggles to keep his lunar nightclub out of the hands of the mafia.

6. The Substitute

The Substitute is a film from 1996 about a professional mercenary turned history teacher in Miami. Marc Anthony starred as Juan Lucas, leader of a street gang known as the "Kings of Destruction" (KOD).

7. Blood and Wine

Starring Jack Nicholson, Jennifer Lopez and Stephen Dorff, Blood and Wine is a 1996 thriller about a man who has failed as a father and husband and decided to create a heist to make money for his fledging business, but things become complicated when his wife interferes.

8. 10 Things I Hate About You

A modern twist on William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, 10 Things I Hate About You is about a high school guy who must find a guy to date the meanest girl in school -- the older sister of the girl he has a crush on-- whom he can't date unless her older sister starts seeing someone. Andrew Keegan starred as the popular school hunk Joey Donner in this feel good movie.

9. Four Brothers

Four Brothers starring Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Andre Benjamin and Garrett Hedlund is a film about four adopted brothers who set out to avenge their mother's murder. Sofia Vergara played Sofi, Gibson's character's girlfriend, in the 2005 movie.

10. Urban Legends: Final Cut

Eva Mendes starred as Vanessa Valdeon in Urban Legends: Final Cut -- a follow up to the film Urban Legend.
