Kat Von D married tattoo artist Oliver Peck back in 2003, but the couple divorced four years later. The scorned ex later took to the tabloids to vent about their relationship. According to Oliver, Kat was obsessed with losing weight and drinking. She allegedly cheated on him, which he claims caused the breakup. We hope they didn’t get matching tattoos…
The Mexican-born tattoo artist started dating Mötley Crüe band member Nikki Sixx back in 2008. In 2010, their romance ended shortly before she confirmed her new relationship with Sandra Bullock’s ex, Jessy James. Rumors claimed that Kat's cheating heart was the reason for her split from Nikki.
A year later, Nikki published a memoir titled, This Is Gonna Hurt: Music, Photography and Life Through The Distorted Lens of Nikki Sixx. When dishing on former love, the musician told Us Weekly, ”I felt that being nice and kind to the relationship was important, and I know all things come to an end eventually, and when it did, I didn't feel that it was my job to point fingers.”
The LA Ink star and Jessy James moved pretty fast after confirming their relationship in 2010. A year later, the couple got engaged, but broke-up a few months later. “I am no longer w Jesse, and out of respect for him, his family and myself, that’s all the info I’d like to share. Thanks for respecting that,” Kat tweeted to her fans. The couple reconciled a month later - around the same time her reality show was dropped from TLC.
Despite announcing that their engagement was back on in July 2011, Kat confirmed via Facebook that she was officially a single later two months later. "I am not in a relationship," Von D wrote. "And I apologize for all the 'back and forth' if it's caused any confusion." Reports claimed that their long distance relationship might have been the cause for the split.
Kat Von D was spotted with new man Deadmau5 (Joel Zimmerman) back in September. Just a few months before, the tattoo artist was reportedly dating British rapper, Scroobius Pip. Looks like she was single and ready to mingle!
Last month, Kat announced her split from Joel via Twitter. "Man...Can't say I didn't give it my best." She later posted, "Man, I sure was wrong. But at least he made it a no-brainer to break that off. #lessonlearned."
Over the weekend, the couple also used Twitter for the actual engagement! Joel tweeted a photo of the ring (promising to replace it with a black diamond) with the caption, "I can't wait for Christmas so.... Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?"
Kat wrote back, "Mi corazon!!! Thank you all for the lovely congratulations! Please excuse me while I go squeeze the hell out of my fiancé!"
