Singer, radio host and entrepreneur Jenni Rivera wasn't kidding when she said she wanted to become the next Oprah Winfrey. Jenny made a new name for herself and added a new title to her resume when her reality show I Love Jenni debuted on mun2 last year. Since then, I Love Jenni's audience has grown immensely.
The show, which aired its season two finale on Sunday, saw a viewer increase of more than 50 percent in its new season. This increase has transformed I Love Jenni into the number one reality TV show on Hispanic cable. Much like Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which is one of the biggest reality TV shows on cable, Jenni's show I Love Jenni focuses on the Rivera family.
But Jenni Rivera believes that her show definitely has a chance of becoming the next Kardashian-esque show, "I Love Jenni is ripe for a crossover," she tells The Wall Street Journal. "We’re Mexican, but we’re a Mexican-American family. [The show] doesn’t just have to stay on our side of the culture.”
