Movie Review: <i>The Love Guru<i>

Maybe it was all that Shrek money that blunted Mike Myers' comedic talents, or maybe it took a fatal blow sometime during the 30th midget joke in the Austin Powers sequels. Either way, one thing is clear: There's so much dead air in the painfully unfunny The Love Guru that it could qualify as a funeral for Myers' creativity.

He may have played a goody-goody on Saved By the Bell but Mario Lopez is no A.C. Slater. In fact, he’s turning out to be quite the Casanova. After splitting with his Dancing with the Stars partner Karina Smirnoff, it was revealed that he may have cheated on her with a 22-year-old bartender (who he met before she was old enough to drink).

Even though her song says "I'm Real," it seems Jennifer Lopez is trying to be superhuman in the mommy department. A source tells British magazine Closer: "Jennifer wants to be the perfect mother, but she crumbles if any normal little thing goes wrong. If the twins cry, she thinks its because she's a bad mom and crumbles herself."

Salma Hayek has finally found true love—sorry, Francois Henri-Pinault, but it doesn't look like you (or your billions of dollars) are the ones that make her go gaga. These days, the new mom seems only to have eyes for her daughter Valentina: "She sticks her tongue out, she claps at everything," Salma gushed. "From day one, she's been smiling and laughing. She's a very happy baby. Everything she does melts my heart."

What do you get the girl who has everything? Just ask the bridal registry department at Bergdorf Goodman. Even though Mariah Carey's attempts to finally throw a wedding party were thwarted by her failure to get a photo agency to pay for it, she still expects gifts from her high-class friends.

Some things she's still wishing and hoping and praying and waiting for: a sterling silver frame for $1,695, and two dozen champagne flutes that cost about $500 each. You may think she's tacky, but you can't call Mimi cheap.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony aren't letting a little thing like parenthood get in the way of their travel plans—or fashion choices. The new mom and dad touched down in Zaventem, Belgium today, with their most fragile baggage (that would be their twins Max and Emme, not Jennifer's Louis Vuitton suitcases) wrapped in brown suede monogrammed blankets. Marc is scheduled to perform in the European city, followed by another show in Spain this week.
