Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz suffered a mini-stroke last Friday while riding his motorcycle in Phoenix, Arizona. The actor, who turns 27 today, spoke about his health scare on Good Morning America earlier this morning. "I couldn't say words. I thought I was saying them! My fiancé, was looking at me like I was speaking a foreign language,” he said.
The half-Puerto Rican star also said that he lost vision in one eye while he was riding. According to USA Today, less than 10% of stroke victims are under 45. "I'm still trying to make sense of it,” he told the morning show, “but happy I'm alive.” During the interview, he confirmed that he doesn’t drink or smoke.
Muniz tweeted about his experience yesterday to fans, “I was in the hospital last Friday. I suffered a "Mini Stroke," which was not fun at all. Have to start taking care of my body! Getting old!”
We hope he feels better!
