Access Hollywood claims they've recieved official confirmation from a source close to Mariah Carey that the diva and Nick Cannon are in fact engaged—but sharp-eyed blogger Perez Hilton has called out Nick for giving Mimi a secondhand ring!
Perez reports that the 27-carat stunner Mimi has been flaunting on her ring finger since the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her movie Tennessee is actually recycled from Nick's last engagement, to Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks. A source close to Selita confirmed, "That IS the same ring!"
If it's true (and it sure seems like it is) Nick had better run for his life. You don't regift jewelry to Mimi and live to tell about it!
