Jennifer Lopez to Host Children's Hospital Benefit

Jennifer Lopez may have been leading a low-pro life in her Long Island, New York mansion, stepping out only for fashion shows and date night with Marc Anthony, but the new mother of two has agreed to come out of seclusion to host the Los Angeles Children's Hospital Noche de Niños event this October. Joining her will be philanthropist-rockers Maná, Alejandro Sanz and Juanes, who will all perform at the gala.

We're glad to see Jennifer spending a little less time buying extravagant baby clothes at Petit Tresor, and putting her money and fame to good use helping needy children. Way to teach your little ones the power of giving rather than receiving, mami.

'She is a hard working mother, if she wants to buy extravagantly expensive clothes so be it! Its the fruit of her work and the clothes are for her two new baby blessings.
