Costa Ricans, beware. Britney Spears and Mel Gibson have decended upon the usually tranquil state for a little joint vacay, Entertainment Tonight is reporting. Entourages and paparazzi are sure to quickly follow the odd couple, who are staying at Mel's beach house.

So what are Britney and Mel doing on vacation together? It's not what you think: Britney's dad Jamie and Mel's wife and kids are also in tow, and the getaway is just a friendly family vacation with the neighbors (Brit and Mel live in the same gated Malibu compound). A source tells People.com, "There are no expectations, there is no agenda," the source added. "It's simply an act of human kindness—one neighbor reaching out to the other."
