Christina Aguilera stopped by Access Hollywood yesterday to promote her new movie, Burlesque (opening nationwide November 24), and the singer, who recently got divorced from her husband of five years, Jordan Bratman, talked candidly about her career, her son and what's in store for her future.
"Some moments are harder than others and there are certain days that definitely are more challenging than others," Aguilera said in the interview. "I'm under a lot of stuff right now as far as my work and balancing everything as a mom, but my son couldn't be happier. He's growing up with so much love around him and I'm definitely going to always keep it that way."
Aguilera, who starred in her first movie ever this year, Burlesque, says she's open to new possibilities and excited about what the future holds for her. "I'm looking forward to this movie coming out and this entire new chapter in my whole life. I'm looking forward to the future and what it holds," she said.
But nothing means more to her than her son's happiness. "As long as he's happy, which he is," she said. "I will continue to work hard to ensure that and to put a body of work together that he can really be proud of. Hopefully Burlesque will be one of those things."
