UPDATE: Zulay Henao and Terrence Howard Engaged!

Oscar nominated actor Terrence Howard recently proposed to his girlfriend Zulay Henao. The Hustle & Flow star was on location in Prague, filming Red Tails, and was met by his Colombian lady love in Europe. Howard, a divorced father of three, reportedly asked for Henao's hand in marriage during the visit, and she accepted.
A reporter for the celebrity photograpry agency Wenn blogged that Howard drunkenly declared his engagement while at a bar in Prague with friends and castmates from the film as well as his paramour, Henao. Apparently, Howard slurred, "I just got engaged!" to the blogger before stumbling off to continue his celebration with Henao.
Although the couple has never officially confirmed their relationship, they have been photographed together since 2007. Howard said Henao helped him get through the heartbreaking death of his mother last September. The couple recently starred together in the film Fighting.
Howard, 40, has been married twice before to the same woman (and mother of his children), Lori McCommas. This will be the first marriage for Henao, who can be seen next in S. Darko, the sequel to the cult hit Donnie Darko.
When we contacted Henao's agent she replied, "She is not engaged to Terrence. She doesn’t even date him." Riiiiiiiiiiiight. Photographic evidence doesn't lie. Howard and Henao have been snapped together at events from Hollywood to D.C. for years now, not to mention the romantic vacation they shared in which they were caught making out! Sounds like someone needs to update their PR reps.

"She couldn't find a nice latino man?"
"Latino" man? You mean like a Haitian, correct? French speaking Haiti is part of so-called "Latin" America too. If Zulay was pictured with a caucasian male who didn't speak a romance language deriving from Vulgar Latin, or just a white male period (Hello to Salma Hayek's French hu$band!), no one would have said much. Okay, how about if Zulay "found" a nice black Colombian man who looked just like Terrance Howard? "Latino". Like the blacks in Colombia, Republica Dominicana, Puerto Rico, Brasil and Haiti, correct?
Zulay (American citizen who once served in the U.S. Army) was once my neighbor & acquaintance. It tickles me to see her gaining levels of success in the movie industry. I'm happy for her. It is a joyous matter to see Zulay's life possibilities being expanded by certain types of blessings.
As for Terrance Howard (American citizen), dude is an especially talented, increasingly notable/established actor. If there is any truth to the engagement rumor, wish them the best. If not, well, rumors...

"...Y would Laitna.com put this pic in her with him in here? I thought this was a Latin magazine."
Uh, are any of us Western Hemisphere born "Americans" from Latium & ancient Rome? You may just as well have asked, "Why would President Obama select Sonia Sotomayor? I thought this was America!"
