—Cross Timbers Middle School in Grapevine, Texas—where Disney star Demi Lovato says she was harassed and bullied as a child—has launched an anti-bullying campaign this week, reports RadarOnline.com. The new campaign comes just a few days after Demi checked into a rehab center to deal with “emotional and physical issues.”

Shannon Tavarez, an 11-year-old girl who recently starred as Young Nala in Broadway’s The Lion King, passed away this week following a long battle with acute myeloid leukemia, People.com reports. Singers Alicia Keys and Rihanna had both campaigned to get Tavarez the bone-marrow transplant she needed.

—Newly single mom Christina Aguilera pulled in a hefty $1 million for performing just 60 minutes at a Halloween party on Saturday, reports Gossipcop.com. XTina was hired by Charles Brandes of Brandes Investment Partners to perform at his annual Halloween bash in San Diego.

—And speaking of XTina, her friend and fellow mom Nicole Richie is showing her plenty of love in the new issue of Redbook, telling the magazine what a strong woman Christina is: "It's very clear through Christina's music what a strong woman she is...But to watch her as a mother only skyrockets the respect I have for her. She is the woman who's recording until 4 a.m. and up at 7 to be with her son. Her dedication to Max is incredible,” said Richie.
