The brother of the late Queen of Tejano, Selena Quintanilla, was taken into custody after failing to pay more than $87,000 in child support.
A.B Quintanilla will be spending some time at the Nueces County Jail and will be required to pay back more than $130,000, court officials said.
Earlier this month, the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office in Corpus Christi, Texas released their 10 most wanted, where A.B was among those listed. The producer had a hearing scheduled on Aug. 4 to addressed his failed child support payments but did not to show up.
During the hearing on Wednesday, District Judge Missy Medary revoked his community supervision and ordered the former member of Los Dinos into custody. “I am going to have you sit in the jail, and I want you to think about two things,” Medary told the 53-year-old "I want you to think about your responsibility as a father, and I want you to think of the rights of your child."
Selena's older brother's next hearing date is still unknown.
