On Tuesday, Madame Tussauds Hollywood unveiled their Selena wax figure — an honor that's been a long time coming. Thanks to Erica Mena, who is also a huge fan and took over our Snapchat account to give everyone an inside look at the unveiling, we watched as the immortalized version of Selena Quintanilla was presented to the world, and we couldn't help but sob uncontrollably. Our gorgeous late icon is finally getting the recognition she so deserves.

The figure, which is valued at approximately $350,000, shows the Queen of Tejano dressed with her bedazzled bustier, purple jacket, black pants and purple boots. Her beauty look consists of Selena's familiar half-up half-down hairdo and red lipstick.

Selena's entire family — Abraham Quintanilla, Marcella Quintanilla, Suzette Quintanilla, A.B. Quintanilla, and widower Chris Perez — were all present for the special, tear-inducing moment.

“On behalf of our family we would like to express a huge amount of gratitude to Madame Tussauds in creating such an amazing lifelike wax figure of our beloved Selena. This is yet another step in making sure that her legacy lives on and that her fans new and old can appreciate her as a person, an artist and one whom we can all identify with,” Selena's sister Suzette said.
