On yesterday’s Rachel Ray Show, the talk show host debuted previously unaired footage from past interviews. In one clip featuring Salma Hayek, the actress told a cute story about picking her daughter’s name. Although she knew immediately that she wanted to name her daughter Valentina, Hayek was worried that her baby would live up to the name’s meaning.

"I was nervous because in Mexico the revolutionary ones were the Adelita and there was a Valentina that was a very famous revolutionary,” Hayek said. “It means The Brave One.  Then I started getting really nervous that she was gonna be, like, really revolutionary and too much for me to handle. So I said I had to pick a second name that was a little more peaceful. And then I had a dream about Paloma, which means Dove. So that’s her name, Valentina Paloma!” Hayek added, “I’m waiting for La Paloma to hit and start taking over the personality, because right now we only have La Valentina.”
