Salma Hayek: Hollywood's Seven Billion Dollar Woman

Salma Hayek is officially Hollywood's richest woman, with an estimated net worth of aproximately seven billion dollars.

Much of Hayek's current wealth comes thanks to her marriage last year to Francois-Henri Pinault, a billionaire whose family has owned PPR (Pinault-Printemps-Redoute), a French luxury goods company, for decades. But aside from getting married, Hayek also managed to produce an award-winning television show and become one of the industries hottest mommy's in just a few short years.

The success has allowed Hayek to take a break from filming to spend time with her daughter. Her last serious role was as Frida Kahlo back in 2002, a movie she coproduced with her company, Ventanarosa, and for which she became the first Mexican to be nominated for an Oscar. Since then she has had a few comedic roles and has guest starred on television shows like 30 Rock and her own Ugly Betty, but has mainly kept a low profile. Thankfully for us, Hayek will be returning to the big screen soon, playing Madame Truska, the bearded lady, in Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, which opens this Friday, Oct. 23.

With more films roles on the way, a new marriage and and multiple projects in the works for her production company, Hayek has her hands full! But it's little Valentina Paloma who has her mommy running around like a crazy lady. "I had a talk with her not too long ago," Hayek told Access Hollywood. "I just said, ‘Listen, you have to slow down because I'm a first-time mommy and I'm not ready for some of the things you're doing.' She talks and she's been walking since 9 months." Looks like Hayek has a little protégé on her hands—like mother, like daughter!
