Rose McGowan and Robert Rodriguez Call it Quits

Actress Rose McGowan has ended her two year engagement to director Robert Rodriguez, Radaronline reports. The two just finished working together on Rodriguez’s action film Machete. And McGowan, 36, is scheduled to star in the Rodriguez-produced Red Sonja. If nothing else, this relationship has certainly helped the actress land work.
 
The couple began dating on the set of Planet Terror, the Rodriguez-directed segment of Grindhouse.  They then made their first public appearance at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2007, not long after the director divorced his wife of 16 years, producer Elizabeth Avellán. Rodriguez, 41, recently told Latina that he can be “very difficult to live with” because of his “crazy imagination.”
