Perez Hilton found himself in deep trouble last night at the Much Music Video Awards after parties in Toronto. After having angered Fergie by comments made on his website about the Black Eyed Peas’ new album, the pop star confronted Perez throughout the weekend, according to the blogger.

Things turned ugly yesterday when Will.I.Am approached Perez in Fergie's defense. In a video statement posted by Perez on his website this morning (check it out here), he explains that as Will.I.Am got too close to his face and demanded respect from Perez, the blogger “made the split second decision of saying the worst possible thing" he could say to the "thug" and responded, ‘You know what? I don’t need to respect you, you’re gay and stop being such a faggot!’”

The gossip diva says he quickly found himself an unexpected victim of physical retaliation, not by Will.I.Am, but by the Black Eyed Peas’ manager, Polo Molina, who allegedly punched Perez three times in the face following his exchange with Will.I.Am. Perez was in shock after the incident and at around 3 A.M he desperately tweeted, “I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke,” after he had already contacted the police.

By this morning, both Perez and Will.I.Am had posted video statements defending their position. Perez posted a 12-minute account of what happened, complete with angry statements directed at Will.I.Am: “Will.I.Am is a coward and a disgusting human being for lying.” He also called Molina “shameful, disgusting and subhuman” before ending the video in tears.

Molina has already turned himself in to the Toronto police, and Perez continues to defend his side of the story. He has made it clear the he is confident that “the truth will come out.”
