Paul Rodriguez Suffering from Mystery Illness, in Intensive Care

Paul Rodriguez was rushed to the hospital this morning with severe abdominal pains. The comedian was in Washington D.C. as chairman of the California Latino Water Coalition for congressional meetings. Mario Santoya, an official with the Coalition, told TMZ that he called an ambulance for Rodriguez upon showing up to his hotel room and finding the comedian immobile and in great pain.

Rodriguez was rushed to George Washington University Hospital and is currently in the intensive care unit. Doctors have performed a series of tests and x-rays but have been unable to pinpoint the cause of the illness. Santoya says that Rodriguez is stable but has been forced to take pain medication while the doctors try to determine what is making him so sick.
