Nicole Richie's car was rear-ended on Monday by paparazzi chasing the pint-sized reality star/fashion designer, and she is none too happy about it. According to reports, Richie hired high-profile celebrity attorney Mark Geragos following the incident.
Lt.Lee of the Beverly Hills police said that Eduardo Arrivebene, the photog who hit Richie, was arrested and booked unlicensed driving because "officers could not verify his identification." Arrivebene was eventually freed on $1,225 bail.
Richie's Range Rover suffered minimal damage and thank God her children were not in the car. She was complaining of pain when officers questioned her, although she refused medical treatment, opting to visit her own doctors. Richie spent hours at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after accident. Her mother, Brenda Richie, later visited her in the home she shares with boyfriend Joel Madden and their two children, Harlow, 22 months, and Sparrow, one month.
