Matthew McConaughey to Make Camila Alves an Honest Woman

Matthew McConaughey may be ready to leave his naked-bongo-playing past behind him to settle down with longtime girlfriend Camila Alves. And we're pretty sure her family is all, "It's about damn time!"

Alves, 25, who recently announced that she is pregnant with the couple's second child, has apparently caused a change of heart for McConaughey, a notorious bachelor with a history of bedding his famous costars. A source told the National Enquirer, "Camila was fine about not being married when they had their first child, a son named Levi, a year ago, but she wants a ring on her finger before their next baby arrives. Matthew immediately agreed to Camila's request. His son has changed his priorities in life."

It was obvious from an interview Matthew gave recently during a press conference for romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past
that his views on the institution of marriage had changed: “It’s not an institution I’m
against at all," he said. "I’m actually for it, believe in it and have seen it actually be
very, very healthy for many relationships."

The source says that the impending arrival of a second child for the genetically blessed duo may have sparked a desire to make the pairing official. “Matthew’s been with Camila for more than two years, and by January he’s going to be a dad for the second time," the source dished. "He feels it’s time to give up bachelorhood."

As long as this doesn't mean he's going to be photographed wearing a shirt more often, we say congrats to the happy couple!
