From Marriage to Misery: 10 Celebrity Divorces

Ahhh, love—so exciting and new! Until, all of a sudden, it's not anymore.

Unfortunately, all weddings do not end in happily ever after. As Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony can attest—they announced they’re calling it quits today!—it's harder to maintain marital bliss than it seems. At least they can take some consolation in the fact that they are far from the only famous Latino couple to fizzle out.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony

Married: The two actors got in a super secret ceremony at J.Lo's Beverly Hills mansion on June 5, 2004. Not even the guests knew they were attending a wedding! The select few who were invited were as surprised as everyone else when they realized what was going on, and so was Dayanara Torres, who's divorce from the salsero was finalized just four days before he married Lopez.

Divorced: The couple just announced their split today. As of right now, no one really has any idea what caused the break up.

What happened: Who knows?

Where they are now: We will have to wait and see what happens to our most famous super couple. Though they may have called it quits, they have a LOT of mutual projects in the works right now. They are working on their first reality TV show right now called, Q'Viva: The Chosen, and have a joint line with Kohl's coming out in September—not to mention their most important shared responsibilty, three-year-old twins Max and Emme. We'll have to see how amicable (or not) this split winds up being.
