Mariah Carey Makes Plans for a Daughter

Mariah Carey is not only ready to have children, but she has already chosen the sex of her first baby: a girl. According to the NY Daily News, Carey, who is not pregnant, spent a whopping $200,000 on baby furniture, including a pink crib and a high chair. The pricey nursery will be in the sprawling mansion she plans to buy in L.A. with hubby Nick Cannon. A source told the Daily News, "She has asked [interior decorator] Kenneth Bordewick to advise on her new home and has requested an all-pink nursery. It's going to be over the top!" An insider adds, "Mariah has tossed around the idea of adopting." Cannon, on the other hand, has said that he’d like to wait a couple of years before becoming a daddy. It’s so cute how Nick likes to share his opinion on these matters. We all know who wears the pink in that family.
