"The rehearsals have been going really well," Carey said. "It's been mainly for me about the music and about how to incorporate the songs. Just because they were all number one records doesn't mean they all make an easy set list... a lot of ballads and up tempos. So it's difficult to make it work seamlessly."
Carey admitted she has been struggling to get back in shape ahead of her shows.
"I've been trying to get there," she said. "I'm a regular person. It is what it is."
The 45-year-old singer went on to say that her twins Monroe and Moroccan will be living with her in Las Vegas.
"They're always with me. They're with me or they're with their father," Carey said. "It is what it is and I would never just be like, 'I'm going, you're not going to be with me.' They wouldn't understand that. So they're the most important thing to me. Their family is going to be here. They're going to be great. They do their own thing."
Carey also spoke about the possibility of finding love in the city of Sin.
"Darling, who knows if I already have or have not?" she laughed. "Anything and everything is possible."
