Last December Hamilton fans danced in the street when the #creativegenius Lin-Manuel Miranda dropped The Hamilton Mixtape.

Remember that one? With music from Jill Scott, John Legend, The Roots, Chance the Rapper, and the list goes on and on. This December, Miranda—creator of the Hamilton play—will release new Hamilton music every month in 2018. Get ready. The first one is available now on the music streaming service of your choice.

Miranda has dubbed this sonic goodness “The Hamilidrops,” and it’s to celebrate the first anniversary of the mixtape. The playwright hopped on Twitter to share the news via a passionate tweetstorm. Miranda knows that he promised Vol. 2 of the Hamilton mixtape, but something tells us this is way better. He tweeted: “Nothing’s gonna match those songs in that order, beautifully sequenced by @jperiodBK, at that moment in December 2016.”

We have no choice but to believe the New York native and wait for the “dope sh*t” he's planning to share with us. Miranda worked closely with Colin Meloy of The Decemberists for the first Hamildrop, and he said the band “brought Ben Franklin to life.” The Mary Poppins Returns star tweeted that it blew him away and he went back to the lab to write new lyrics for the bridge to “Ben Franklin.”
