Imagine you’re on your way home from a long day at work, wrestling with traffic and racing the clock so you can finally unwind. Out of nowhere, you’ve been hit with a red light, and then suddenly, you became an audience member to a musical performance from the comfort of your car. You’re probably thinking, “someone had the audacity to stop traffic and make a fool out of themselves?” That’s exactly what Tony and Pulitzer prize winner Lin-Manuel Miranda and The Late Late Show host James Corden did, and we LOVE it.

In case you weren’t aware, Miranda is the highly-respected genius who produced and starred in the Broadway musicals Hamilton and In the Heights (which are both ah-mazing and must-sees if you haven’t already). While preparing for the debut of Hamilton in Los Angeles, The Puerto Rican actor, playright, composer and lyricist joined forces with Corden to give people of the city of Angels an experience like no other.

The dynamic duo performed the songs “Aquarias,” “Let The Sunshine In” and “Hair,” from the iconic 1960s musical Hair. The three hilarious acts were timed to last the duration of the red traffic lights, and let’s just say, the drivers forced to watch weren’t exactly impressed. That was, until, the grand finale moment, when Miranda and Corden really stuck to the - bare -  essence of the original “Hair.” That’s right, Miranda and Corden stripped down to their naked junk, and let it all hang out for their rendition of the classic. Bravo, gentlemen.  Hair's co-author-lyricist James Rado offered his commentary on the whole shebang, noticing the apparent remixing of the original lyrics. We're obsessed, and know you will be too!
