Kelis Cries Poverty While Rocking $190K Bracelet

In recently filed court papers Kelis claims she’s broke, saying, "I have run out of money," but then goes on to reveal that a princess-cut diamond tennis bracelet given to her by her soon-to-be ex-husband Nas is worth more than $190,000 and that she still has her nine carat diamond solitaire engagement ring. Call us crazy, but if you're sitting on $190,000 worth of anything, you are far from broke.

Nevertheless, the “Bossy” half of the doomed marriage is insisting that she cannot support her unborn child alone. Kelis is asking rapper Nas to not only provide child support, but to also cover all pregnancy-related costs, including half of all medical expenses after the child’s birth. Kelis is requesting that Nas provide $3,500 for the baby nurse and $20,000 more to cover the cost of strollers and cribs, diapers and the like. She also wants him to pay spousal support, saying she’s entitled to maintain the style of life to which she has become accustomed—including five homes, 5-star dinners and first-class flights.

Unfortunately for Kelis, her milkshake can no longer bring her husband to the yard as Nas has yet to respond to these demands. Looks like things are going to get ugly between these two!
