Jennifer Lopez Opens Up about 'Love'

Ellen von Unwerth

It's undeniable: Jennifer Lopez is as fabulous as ever! With her new album, Love?, on the way, the triple threat Latina poses pretty (actually, quite stunningly) for the September issue of Glamour magazine. In a throwback-to-the-sixties fashion spread, JLo dons plenty of animal print pieces while she plays naughty housewife for the camera. Best part, she seems like, at 41, married for six years, and a mom of twins Max and Emme, she's having a blast and at her happiest.

When asked how she reached this point in her life and how she overcomes the doubts (and the doubters), Lopez says, "You cannot doubt yourself. Doubt is a killer. You just have to know who you are and what you stand for. You can have a great mentor, a great partner, a great love in your life who gives you confidence and makes you feel great about yourself. And that’s all wonderful, but at the end of the day, if you don’t believe it, all of that means nothing.”

Still, even with all this confidence, Lopez admits there are some things even she questions, thus the question mark in the album's title Love? "For me, love is the never-ending question," she says. "It’s the answer, but it’s also inundated with contradictions and complications.  It’s about years of experience in different relationships, and kind of the culmination of that, and how even to this day, I’m still learning."
