While you and your kids were rummaging through pounds of Halloween candy, Gisele Bündchen and her clan were snacking on kale chips or something not even a little comparable.
The model recently explained why she gave all of her kids' Halloween candy away, and only let them try one each. “We don’t really have that kind of sugar in our house,” Bündchen told People. “I let them try one [piece], but they really only had one bite and then they didn’t want it anymore.” The 36-year-old Brazilian continued by explaining that her kids willingly gave up their treats.
Though little Vivian and Benjamin Bündchen couldn't indulge in a Twix or Snickers, their mom does allow them to have some sort of sweets whenever they want. “It’s a little different kind of sweets, so they’re not used to it,” Bündchen explained. “I said to them, ‘You know, there are so many kids that don’t get candy and you guys got so many, some kids don’t even get one! And they’re like, ‘Oh mom, okay you can give it to them if they don’t get any.’“
Back in January, we learned just how Bündchen and her NFL husband Tom Brady revealed how they keep their svelte figures. The couple's personal chef Allen Campbell spoke about their strict, plant-based diets. Campbell explained that 80 percent of what the couple eats is vegetables, and the rest is lean meats – AKA, no room at all for artificial, sugary Halloween candy.
