Cameron Diaz is used to intrusive questions about her personal life. We can only imagine that it's as if all the world's paparazzi are like her entremetida aunt with the neverending cycle of questions, "When are you going to get married?" and "Don't you want to have children?"
Well, the spunky actress, 36, has an answer and it might not be exactly what her abuelita wants to hear, but at least she speaks the truth! "I'm not somebody who is going to declare either way if I'm absolutely going to or I'm absolutely not going to have children. I have no idea," Diaz tells Parade in this Sunday's issue. "I'm still young. I have an unbelievable life. In some ways, I have the life that I have because I don't have children."
In the baby crazed world that Hollywood has become lately, it is refreshing to hear from a woman who is not afraid to put herself first. "Everything I'm bringing into my life right now isn't geared toward that [having children]."
The actress also touches on the impact that her father's death has had on her life, saying, "I'm sure it's going to be a part of all of the roles that I play now. It's been a year since he died, and it's been an incredibly transformative year. It's just something that's going to be with me forever."
