By now, you've probably heard that Michael Jordan has remarried! The basketball legend tied the knot with his Cuban model fiancé Yvette Prieto this past weekend in Florida. The 34-year-old bride looked absolutely stunning in a couture gown! About 500 people were in attendance at the ceremony, which took place at an Episcopal Church called Bethesda-by-the Sea, and about 1,500 more were invited to the couple's wedding reception at the Bears Club (a golf course community located in Jupiter, Fla.)
Prieto is definitely one of our fave brides in the celeb world, but the cubana is not the only one we love: Without further ado, we proudly present our 17 favorite Latina brides of all time!

When and Where: The couple met in a Miami club in 2008.
Why we loved the dress: Prieto’s French silk voile corseted J'Aton Couture gown is absolutely elegant, with handmade silk lace and Swarovski crystals.
Where are they now: Only time will tell…. cheers to the happy couple!
The Bride: Bianca Jagger
The Groom: Mick Jagger
When and Where: May 12, 1971 in a Roman Catholic ceremony in Saint-Tropez, France while she was 4 months pregnant with their daughter, Jade Jagger.
Why we loved the dress: She ditched the traditional wedding dress and decided to wear a super chic white YSL tuxedo jacket (wearing nothing under) with a long white narrow skirt, a large white floppy hat with a veil, and a floral corsage on her wrist showing her truly fashion-forward sense of style.
Where are they now: In May 1978 she filed for divorce on grounds of his adulterous behavior. Bianca kept her married name and has become a strong advocate for Human Rights and Environmental issues while Mick Jagger continues to be Mick Jagger.
The Bride: Salma Hayek
The Groom: Francois-Henri Pinault
When and Where: After tying the knot on Valentine’s day at City Hall in Paris in 2009, the couple went all out, hosting 150 of their closest friends and family for a weekend-long affair in Venice, Italy capped off with a ceremony held at the Teatro La Fenice opera house on April 25, 2009.
Why we loved the dress: Salma Hayek took advantage of her hubby’s fashion empire, rocking a stunning Balenciaga wedding gown by Nicolas Ghesquiere. The off-white gown featured a fitted bodice embellished with beads and crystals and a full-length bubble skirt.
Where are they now: The couple announced their engagement and Salma's pregnancy in March 2007. After a brief split in 2008, they finally walked down the aisle and have been going strong ever since. They have a 3-year-old daughter, Valentina Paloma, who served as flower girl at the nuptials.
The Bride: Christina Aguilera
The Groom: Jordan Bratman
When and Where: at sunset on November 19, 2005 at the Staglin Vineyard in Napa Valley, California
Why We Loved the Dress: the pint-size crooner chose the Christian Lacroix gown during Paris Fashion Week the July before her November nuptials. Christina stayed true to her heritage with her flamenco-style dress and by carrying a diamond rosary in place of a floral bouquet. Her long ruffled train and dainty veil were the perfect details for a reformed dirty girl.
Where They Are Now: Christina Aguilera filed for divorce on October 14, 2010 citing irreconcilable differences. The couple have one son, Max, who was born on January 12, 2008. Christina is dating set assistant, Matthew Rutler, whom she met on the set of her movie Burlesque.
The Bride: Fergie
The Groom: Josh Duhamel
When and Where: They tied the knot on January 10, 2009 at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu.
Why we loved the dress: The Black Eyed Peas singer wore a classy custom-made, form fitting white Dolce & Gabbana dress that showed off her hourglass figure in the front while flowers on the backside of her dress accentuated her “assets.”
Where are they now: The happy couple survived rumors of Duhamel cheating and are both working on their careers. No babies...yet.
The Bride: Eva Longoria
The Groom: Tony Parker
When and Where: Eva and her Parisian boyfriend got married on July 7, 2007 in the beautiful Chateau Vaux le Vicomte located on the outskirts of Paris.
Why we loved the dress: Eva wore an white Angel Sanchez wedding dress that came down to the middle of her back just enough to keep it classy and had a shimmery detailed hem on the bottom of the dress emphasizing the beautiful cascading train.
Where are they now: Longoria and Parker have recently filed for divorce after she found inappropriate text messages Tony was sending to the wife of a former teammate.
The Bride: Alani “La La” Vazquez
The Groom: Carmelo Anthony
When and Where: Vazquez and Anthony’s wedding was held at the classic NYC hot spot, Cipriani’s on July 10, 2010. The venue was decorated in a rich red motif with flower chandeliers, luxurious textiles and a ton of red roses and candles.
Why we loved the dress: La La’s beautiful custom-designed $8K Vera Wang gown was a frothy dream! The fitted bodice and sash tied at the waist flattered La La’s curves perfectly and the layers of delicate fabric in the skirt were modern yet whimsical, just like the elegant affair at Cipriani’s.
Where are they now: La La and NBA basketball superstar Carmelo have been going strong since Anthony proposed back in 2004. They have a 3-year-old son named Kiyan and their wedding this past Fall was a grand, star-studded affair. The wedding planning and big day were chronicled on the VH1 reality show La La’s Full Court Wedding, which aired in September.
The Bride: Mariah Carey
The Groom: Tommy Mottola
When and Where: The pop diva and her then manager exchanged vows inside St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Manhattan in June 5, 1993.
Why we loved the dress: Mariah wore a white embellished larger-than-life off-the-shoulder Vera Wang wedding dress that had a 27-foot train, an embellished bodice and a poofy ball gown skirt that looked like something out of a princess fairytale.
Where are they now: Only 5 years into their marriage, Mariah and Tommy divorced and Mariah claimed herself emancipated. The both went on to marry other people.
The Bride: Odette Yustman
The Groom: Dave Annable
When and Where: They got married at Twin Peaks Ranch at Ojai, Calif. on October 10, 2010.
Why we loved the dress: Odette looked stunning in a white Monique Lhuillier sweetheart dress that showed off her neckline beautifully and a tiered bottom that added some volume to her dress making her look timeless.
Where are they now: Dave and Odette recently worked together on Annable’s hit show Brothers & Sisters.
The Bride: Thalía
The Groom: Tommy Mottola
When and Where: Thalía and the music executive were married at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City on December 2nd, 2000.
Why we loved the dress: Thalía looked stunning in an elegant $350,000 off-the-shoulder gown made of silk, satin and tulle by Mitzy.
Where are they now: After 10 years together, Thalía and Tommy are still going strong and both are devoted to their daughter Sabrina Sakaë Mottola Sodi. Reportedly, Thalía is ready to have another baby in 2010.
The Bride: Gisele Bundchen
The Groom: Tom Brady
When and Where: The supermodel and Super Bowl champ first tied the knot on February 26, 2009 in an intimate ceremony in Santa Monica, California, followed by a small gathering of family and friends held at their Brentwood Hills home. They followed the simple celebration with a larger party at Gisele’s home in Malpais, Costa Rica on April 5 of that same year, where things got so out of hand paparazzi claimed that the couple’s hired goons fired guns at them!
Why we loved the dress: Gisele’s simply elegant dress was perfect for the location. She wore a white silk satin bias-cut long gown with spaghetti straps and train, designed by John Galiano’s atelier in Paris and topped off the look with a six-foot-long white silk tulle veil.
Where are they now: The super couple is still doing super well! They had a baby named Benjamin on December 8, 2009 and both have been quite successful since tying the knot in both their personal and public endeavors. They even seem to have won over Brady’s ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, who attended their second wedding in Costa Rica with Brady’s first son, 3-year-old John Edward Thomas.
The Bride: Mariah Carey
The Groom: Nick Cannon
When and Where: Even though the couple were dating for only 6 weeks, that didn’t stop them from committing to each other forever on April 30, 2008 at the pop star’s Bahamian Estate in Eleuthera.
Why we loved the dress: Mariah wore a very sleek and surprisingly simple form-fitting off-white Nile Cmylo dress that turned a pale pink color in water that was perfect for a wedding held on an island.
Where are they now: Mariah and Nick are expecting a child (or children) and continue to celebrate their love by renewing their vows every year.
The Bride: Alexa Vega
The Groom: Sean Covel
When and where: The happy couple tied the knot in Covel’s hometown of Lead, South Dakota on Oct. 10, 2010.
Why we loved the dress: Alexa looked radiant in an Ian Stewart dress which was snug on top, and poofy on the bottom—making her look like a true princess.
Where are they now: Alexa postponed her honeymoon because “Spy Kids called and they want me back to work ASAP,” the actress said the day after her wedding. She is currently wrapping filming on the movie and lives in L.A. with her hubby.
The Bride: Paulina Rubio
The Groom: Nicolas Vallejo Nagera
When and Where: Pau and Nicolas had a religious ceremony at Asis Chapel Mexican Ecoturism Park on Mexico’s Carribean Coast.
Why we loved the dress: Pau went for a simpler look on her wedding day, wearing a backless white wedding gown and letting her hair down for the big day. Pau looked comfortable yet sexy in this raw silk Rosa Clará gown.
Where are they now: In November, Pau and Nicolás welcomed a baby boy Andrea Nicolás (named after his father) into the world.
The Bride: Jenni Rivera
The Groom: Esteban Loaiza
When and Where: For her wedding to fourth husband, baseball player Esteban Loaiza, Jenni threw a lavish ceremony at a massive ranch in Simi Valley, California on September 8th, 2010.
Why we loved the dress: Jenni’s simple, yet elegant gown was the perfect choice for her curvaceous figure. Despite how simple it looked, the dress reportedly cost $50,000 dollars because it was covered in Swarovski crystals.
Where are they now: The 4th marriage seems to have been the charm for Jenni. The newlyweds always look super happy when they’re photographed by the paparazzi in L.A.
The Bride: Dayanara Torres
The Groom: Marc Anthony
When and Where: After marrying quickly in Las Vegas on May 9, 2000, the Puerto Rican pair renewed their vows in a formal ceremony on December 7, 2002 at San Juan's Cathedral in Puerto Rico.
Why We Loved the Dress: The former Miss Universe could have easily gone over the top on her big day, but instead she kept things classic with an off-the-shoulder Reem Acra gown embellished with pearls and Swarovski crystals.
Where They Are Now: The rocky marriage came to an end in October 2003 with Dayanara filing for divorce in January 2004. Less than a week after the divorce was finalized, Marc Anthony married Jennifer Lopez on June 5, 2004. To help in her recovery from the divorce, Dayanara traded her engagement ring for a diamond-encrusted Cartier watch and wrote the book Married to Me: How Committing to Myself Led to Triumph After Divorce.
