Even Jessica Alba's Not Quite Perfect Enough!

What would you be willing to give up to have a body as slamming as Jessica Alba's? Yeah, we could write up a long list too. Which is what makes it totally insane that the producers of the new Campari calendar, featuring J. Alba steaming up the pages in sexy retro bathing suits, felt the need to digitally alter her body!

A mere 5 months after Jessica gave birth to her little girl Honor Marie, she was tapped as the new face for the Campari calendar, following in the footsteps of fellow Latina hotties Eva Mendes and Salma Hayek. The images were released last week and had just about everyone marveling at Alba's flawless face and body. But the Daily Mail recently revealed that the photos had been digitally altered.

This doesn't come as much of a surprise as digital alteration has become commonplace in the world of advertising. But does an international sex symbol like Jessica Alba, who can be counted as one of the most beautiful celebrities in the world, really need that much airbrushing to make her look perfect? Not really, as it turns out. But sometimes companies want an image that is more than perfect, and that is where Photoshop comes into play.

Leaked photos show an original shot of Jessica posing in a strapless white jumpsuit cinched with a black belt. The photos were taken by celebrity-photographer Mario Testino. Before the digital alteration Jessica looks stunning, showing off an hourglass shape most new mothers would kill for. In the altered image, it is apparent that they have added makeup to Jessica's face and slimmed down her waist, thighs and chin.

Just goes to show you, in Hollywood, you really can never be too thin or too wealthy! If it's impossible for a drop dead gorgeous superstar to embody the perfect image presented in ads, movies and fashion shows, how can regular women be expected to fit the mold?
