It may just be November, but Erica Mena is ready to take on 2017.

The beauty stunned on the red carpet at our Hollywood Hot List party in LA last week, and she's sharing that the secret to her super toned body is a serious squat regimen.

"We need to learn that it’s ok to keep your curves," she shared. "That doesn’t make you fat, it doesn’t make you look unfit. We Latinas, we’re big on our butts. Start off doing a little cardio and a lot of squats. Working your way from the bottom up is the best. Building stamina is definitely very important, so start with light cardio and some squats. You can’t go wrong with squats. Especially when you’re Latina and you have that big bottom."

Mena also has her eyes set on huge plans for television and film next year. She's set to star in a new show on Netflix, and it looks like we're going to see a whole new side of the previous reality star. "I’m actually on a new show coming up which I’m really excited about. We have some TV stuff in the works! You guys get to finally see the real Erica, away from the ratchet Love & Hip Hop franchise, thank God! And I’m just ready to represent my culture and where I’m from the right way now," she said.
