Divorcing Cibrian Says He’ll Be a “Devoted Father”

CSI: Miami actor Eddie Cibrian filed for divorce on August 24 from former model Brandi Glanville, citing “irreconcilable differences.” But the 36-year-old father of two says he’s determined to be a full partner in bringing up his children. “While my wife and I are dissolving our marriage, we will work together to parent our two children," Cibrian said in a statement. "I love my boys very much. I want only the best for them and am committed to being a devoted father."

Cibrian married Glanville in 2001, but has recently been spotted on dates with country music star LeAnnRimes, who co-starred with him in the Lifetime movie Northern Lights last fall, appearing publicly together on a golf course and at a Kings of Leon concert.

Beyond announcing his breakup with Glanville and reaffirming his role as a full parent to his sons Mason, 6, and Jake, 2, Cibrian isn’t revealing much. "I will continue to be respectful and sensitive to this issue by not doing interviews about this ongoing private matter,” he said. “I wish everyone would do the same."
