Demi lovato’s road to success hasn’t always been easygoing, and has consisted of many trials and tribulations. Its no secret that the Sorry Not Sorry singer has struggled with her image in the media as someone who millions look up to. Nonetheless, the 25-year-old has achieved all of her accomplishments triumphantly, all the while remaining extremely honest with her fans about the battle it took for her to be where she is today.
The star consistently remains true to herself, and it’s something we all admire her for. That’s why we were so excited to hear about her latest project, a documentary titled Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated.
At her most vulnerable state, Demi will be revealing personal details about her struggle with drug addiction, her eating disorder, and getting sober while acting as a judge on The X factor. In addition, the Confident singer will share her journey after becoming single for the first time in her life, marking the end of her six-year relationship with Wilmer Valderama.
According to Rolling Stone, demi says, “My fans have been on this journey with me since I was eight years old and have shared in some of the most important moments in my life [...] As I embark on a new journey both personally and professionally, it was important to me to create this documentary with a platform that would allow me to continue to bring my story directly to my fans." This documentary will be as personal as it gets, and will feature, "never before told stories and personal footage that reveal a raw and intimate look into her life."
This fall is surely an exciting time for the belleza. Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated will be released October 17th on Youtube. That will be the PERFECT sequel to her 6th studio album, Tell Me You Love Me, dropping September 29th. Although Demi has never been one to hold anything back, we still expect to see a side to her that she hasn’t fully exposed in a raw, uncut version.
