Demi Lovato is advocating for mental health.

The 21-year-old "Really Don't Care" singer is joining a range of experts at the upcoming Mental Health Listening and Engagement Tour to speak about her battle with bipolar disorder.

On August 15, Lovato released a PSA helping raise awareness for the event and those suffering with a mental illness.

"I'm Demi Lovato. I'm a recording artist, author, songwriter and actress. I'm also living with bipolar disorder," she begins.

"Bipolar depression really got my life off track, but today I'm proud to say I am living proof that someone can live, love, and be well with bipolar disorder when they get the education, support and treatment they need."
