Demi Lovato Had the Worst Week Ever

Demi Lovato officially had the worst week ever. We're pulling for the talented singer-actress to get better fast and put this whole mess behind her, but she hit a major rough patch.

First, the announcement that she entered a rehab facility for "emotional and physical" problems shocked her friends and fans alike. Then it was revealed that Demi has struggled with self-mutilation and eating disorders over the years. Everyone seemed to have something to day about the breakdown until eventually the incident that sent Lovato running to rehab was revealed. Reportedly, she got into a very "one-sided" fight with Alex Welch, a back-up dancer for the JoBros who she believed ratted out her hard-partying ways to her stepfather.

Just yestday, Demi's mother and stepfather thanked fans for their support, but also lashed out at her estranged biological father for speaking out about the Disney starlet. Demi's attorney, Jamie Young, told Page Six, "No one speaks for Demi except for her designated representatives. Unfortunately, several people have taken it upon themselves to speak out—both on and off the record—about a situation they know nothing about." Patrick Lovato hasn't had contact with Lovato for over two years, leading many to compare him to fame-crazed Michael Lohan. But Lovato's father (who is recovering from cancer) seemed to have the best interest of his daughter in mind when he spoke to the Radaronline.com, saying "She’ll be fine. She’s strong alright."

We hope just hope Demi gets better soon so she can speak for herself.
